How the service works

Coaching is an ongoing partnership between coach and client designed to improve and enhance the quality of life. As your coach it is my role to listen and really understand your challenges and the issues you are dealing with and then to support you in discovering and implementing solutions.

Through our sessions I will teach you how to you to use your body and mind’s own resources to harness your own inner strength to regain control of your life. You will also learn how to develop positive patterns of thought, emotions and behaviour.

My approach is practical and solution-focussed and we will work together to identify simple, practical day-to-day steps tailored entirely to your personal needs.
With your commitment I will support you to develop strategies and exercises which will energise and empower you to focus on what you really value and enjoy.

Our coaching sessions will also involve a number of holistic therapies which will bring you balance, inner calm and improved energy. These therapies include visualisation, sleep and rest therapy and breathing techniques.

How the sessions work

The coaching is usually carried out by phone. I have found that this is more effective than face-to-face as it enables a deeper level of communication without either visual or environmental distractions. It also means that you can speak from anywhere and turn up for sessions with no concern for appearance! The client initiates the call at a prearranged time which can be done by phone or Skype call.

I would usually suggest booking a block  of 6x40minute sessions  - typically one session a week – as I have found this type of structure encourages the client to feel committed and motivated to achieve the best possible outcome. If you prefer, the sessions can be taken more or less frequently than this.  Between sessions I will usually make a short check-up call and I am also happy to provide email support.

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
